The Rosé Festival

Drink Pink!

A brand new festival celebrating rosé comes to The Geffrye Museum, Hoxton this July. This summer will see the launch of the inaugural Rosé Festival: the UK’s first and only festival dedicated to rosé wine. The festival will take place from Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd July 2017 against the picturesque backdrop of The Geffrye Museum. The event will welcome over 3,000 visitors to share in a celebration of food, entertainment and an abundance of rosé wine. The festival will offer visitors the chance to sample different varieties of rosé from expert producers who will be on hand to share their knowledge around the techniques used to produce the unique characteristics of rosé. The festival will focus on both rosé champagne and wine, however producers will also display a range of their other products including ciders, vermouths, prosecco and other sparkling wines. To accompany the wide array of drinks on offer, a hand-picked selection of the best British food vendors will be on site for the duration of the three-day festival. Music and entertainment will also play a key role in The Rosé Festival, welcoming an array of young and emerging talent from the UK. In between glasses of rosé, there will be a mix of Shakespeare recitals, operatic performances, jazz bands and DJ sets that will entertain revellers from day through to night. Tickets cost £15 for the day and £1 of all ticket sales will be donated to The Geffrye Museum as a contribution towards the planned refurbishment in 2018. All ticket holders must be over 18yrs old. ID will be required on entrance. Event operates 3pm-10pm Friday and Saturday and 12pm- 7pm on Sunday. Serving alcohol to guests is at the organisers discretion and guests can be asked to leave if organisers feel you are at a risk to yourself or others. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
